We had an amazing stay at the Old Chaff Mill Retreat. We've now stayed multiple times across different seasons, and every visit has been just as memorable. We absolutely love the beautiful location, the unique character of the retreat, and the peace and tranquillity it offers. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind, with every detail thoughtfully considered to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

We can't wait to return again.

…honestly one of the highlights of our trip…such a beautiful and unique place, full of character and history, with so much attention to detail. The interiors are gorgeous, the garden is incredibly peaceful and private, and the bathroom is absolutely incredible. We genuinely didn’t want to leave and would absolutely stay again.

I stayed at the Old Chaff Mill the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids, and then the night of the wedding with my now husband. Our stay was incredible. I cannot imagine a better place to stay for such a special time.
The place is immaculate! Richard and Bernice have such an attention to detail in terms of the actual building, but also all of the small touches throughout the place like the fresh sourdough, homemade jams, bath bombs, stocked pantry, house slippers, the list goes on!
I cannot recommend staying here enough, and we will be back to celebrate our anniversary in the future!

An architectural marvel, both inside and out. Spacious and incredibly private. Lovingly detailed furnishings that you truly won't find anywhere else in the world. Pure privacy.

We travel extensively and rate this B&B as amongst the best we have stayed at anywhere in the world. The owners who live nearby make certain that all that one could wish for is provided e.g. food, condiments, cooking utensils, and everything is style, from the beautifully appointed living room to the comfortable king bed. The architectural design and conversion from a ruined mill is amazing and far more than one could expect. It is situated in a vineyard with sun streaming in from the north and a beautiful private garden with seat and a Weber Q .We loved this place.
